NYLONS

There are various grades of nylons namely cast, extruded and oil filled. Nylons have good wear properties, high rigidity, moderate moisture absorption. Used for gears, bushes, wear strips etc.

Available in rod, sheet and tube.

POLYCARBONATES

ACRYLICS

Polycarbonate is a high impact shatterproof material used as machine guards, safety windows etc.

Available in bronze, UV and clear.

Acrylics thermoplastics are available in various colors and different grades. Can be hear formed. It is most commonly called perspex.

Available in and colour and can be fabricated to any design or specification.

SPECIALISED PLASTICS AND LAMINATES

We specialise in rare plastic products that is not readily available. Various asbestos, adders, glass, carbon resin impregnated products for special application.

ROOF SHEETING

Good wear resistance and chemical resistance. Excellent sliding properties. Polyethylene is a food grade material. Polypropylene is used in chemical applications. Application include gears, wear strips, linings, machining components. Very versatile and easy to machine.

Available in most colors in rods, sheets and tube.

Paper and fabric based material laminates to provide high mechanical strength and excellent insulating properties. These laminates use reinforcements of paper, fabric, asbestos, and glass impregnated with resin binders.

Available is phoenolic resins, Gp03 (used in rain industry), kevlar, epoxy glass, silicon Mica.

Can be slit to specified sizes. Used mainly in heat sealing applications and high temperature non-stick surfaces or non-stick chemical applications.

Available in adhesive and non-adhesive.

Comes in polycarbonate and fiberglass.

Available in different profiles ie IBR, Big 6, Corrugated, Industrial 7 and can be cut to any size.

Industrial strip curtains. Used in cold rooms, dusty areas or for separation of work areas.

Available in 2,3 or 4 mm. We use quality industrial fasteners.

A hard brittle material used in chemical application. Easily machinable. Used to build chemical tanks, machine parts etc.

Available in rods, sheets and tube.

It is a special material formulated for low friction long life. It combines a load bearing capacity greater that that of white metal and up to 8 times longer service than phosphor bronze. It is most effective in moist, immersed and corrosive applications. Very low water absorption. Used in gears, brushes etc. Commonly known as Vesconite.

Silicone is used in high temperature applications.

Available to customer specification, or in sheets.

Polyurethane is used in realigning of wheels, components gaskets etc.

Rubber

Available in Neoprene sponge, plain rubber or vacuum section rubber. Can be machined or molded.

GASKETS AND SEALS

Material used in extreme temperatures (190 - 250 degrees Celcius). Has excellent chemical resistance and anti-stick properties. Soft materials used at bushes, seals, bellows and in high temperature environments. Commonly known as Teflon.

Bags, Flat Sheets, and Tubing in different microns & composition. Can be extruded to suit certain applications.

Various gaskets and seals available in PTFE, Rubber, Polyurethane etc. Can be custom made/molded to specification.
